Three neighbours from Coventry celebrated after scooping a lottery windfall.
The lucky winners each pocketed £1,000 after their postcode, CV2 5NB, in the Stoke area of the city, was drawn in the People’s Postcode Lottery daily draw.
Their postcode was plucked out on Sunday (October 25).
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners. She said: “Congratulations to our winners, what fantastic news to here! I hope they have fun spending the cash.”
Several other neighbourhoods have recently won prizes with the postcode lottery across Coventry and Warwickshire as you can read below.
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). RNIB inspires people with sight loss to transform their own personal experience, their community and, ultimately, society as a whole.
Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
