Gov. Ducey removes statutory cap on off-track betting parlors in Pima County

PHOENIX (KVOA) – Big changes are coming to the horse racing industry in Pima County.

Gov. Doug Ducey signed a bill Tuesday removing the statutory cap on the number of off-track betting parlors in the county.

This limit was not required in other counties in the state.

The Rillito Park Foundation commended the passing of the bill saying it will ensure horse racing has a quote significant future in Arizona.
